Fantasy Hockey Feature: Jonathan Drouin
The Colorado Avalanche signed forward Jonathan Drouin in the offseason because he was a cheap forward to add (cap hit of $825 000) and his junior hockey history with superstar Nathan MacKinnon was well-documented. After not meshing on the top line to start the season, Drouin has 20 points in his last 21 games, including seven goals. With Artturi Lehkonen returning recently and Valeri Nichushkin hopefully returning from the Player Assistance Program sooner rather than later, fantasy hockey managers need to know if Drouin’s production, and thus his role, can stay consistent.
