The Columbus Blue Jackets nightmare season continues to descend further into darkness.
It started with a sudden change behind the bench after disgraced head coach Mike Babcock was let go ahead of the season, only months after he'd joined the team. Then a series of losses and poor performances from their top players struck on the ice, followed by injuries and a plummet down the standings.
And the hits keep on coming. The Blue Jackets top defence prospect, David Jiříček, told Aaron Portzline of The Athletic that he’s unhappy with his situation.
