It's not a secret that the Elite Prospects' scouting staff were big advocates for Oscar Fisker Mølgaard in last year's draft.
His skating, intelligence, maturity and upward trajectory impressed us enough to rank him as a first-rounder from January onwards, placing him at 28 on our final board. While we differed slightly from the industry consensus, this was a player we were willing to stand behind. So obviously, we praised the Seattle Kraken for making one of the better value picks in the draft when they got him with the 52nd pick near the end of the second round.
