The Hobey Baker race keeps getting hotter

Even before this weekend, the Hobey Baker race was fascinating.

Often, there is a single standout candidate, or perhaps two, that have clearly separated themselves from the field by this point in the season. Arguments may be made one way or the other, but it's one or two guys and there's very little to really say otherwise.

Not so much this year. There are legitimately, in a way I can't really remember, six, seven, maybe eight very serious candidates for the award.
