Power Feelings: Takin' care of business

This may look to you like a standard NHL “power rankings” but let me assure you, friend, that it is anything but. These rankings are based entirely on how I feel about a team’s chances of winning the Cup, meaning you can’t tell me I’m wrong because these are my feelings and feelings can’t be wrong.

Please enjoy the Power Feelings.

32. Chicago (Last time: 31)

The reason I'm putting Chicago here, apart from the fact that they have a worse record than San Jose (an incredible feat, honestly) is that at least the Sharks seem to have some sort of path forward. Trade some guys, keep accumulating picks, etc. Chicago is like "let's keep re-signing veterans who don't matter and hope we get bad picks." If it's always darkest before dawn, I'd hate to see how much darker it's gonna get for them.

31. San Jo
