Henrique, 34, has 42 points in 60 games this season and was a pending unrestricted free agent. Carrick, 32, has appeared in 61 NHL games and has 11 points from the blue line.
For Edmonton, the move adds a veteran depth scorer and a defender that has become an NHL regular in the past couple of seasons.
