Mining the Waiver Wire: Playoffs Edition Week 2

Here’s hoping you’ve come out of Week 1 of the postseason with a healthy lead. But whether you did or didn’t, the battle is far from over. There’s no resting on laurels here. Scooping up some streamers for the week can be the perfect dagger to your opponent's heart.

This week, we’re looking at a schedule favouring the New York Rangers first and foremost. The Rags skate a whopping five times this week including three matches against non-playoff teams. Additionally, we’re looking at 13 other clubs playing four times – including the Blue Jackets, Jets, Penguins, and Red Wings who are all staring down opponents with a combined winning percentage under .500.

Nashville, Vancouver, Toronto, and Tampa Bay each skate just twice, so we’ll try to avoid them.
