NCAA Tournament Takes Day 4: BC, Michigan are going to the Frozen Four

A brief recap of today’s NCAA tournament games:

No. 1 Boston College 5, No. 9 Quinnipiac 4 (OT) (Springfield regional)

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — On the very first day of the season, Boston College traveled to Quinnipiac, where the Eagles watched the Bobcats raise their 2023 national championship banner.

"You respect the other team. You respect their building, respect what they do," BC coach Greg Brown said that day, after his team pulled out a 2-1 overtime win. "And it was good for our guys to see how excited they were for that national championship. They don't come easy. It's good for our guys, a good lesson to see."

Now, 176 days later, they've got another win in OT, this time 5-4. And it means a lot more: BC is back in the Frozen Four for the first time since 2016.

Even if the result was the same
