Fantasy Hockey Feature: Brad Lambert's unique development path

Brad Lambert has had a strange development trajectory. He was one of the most highly touted prospects prior to his draft season based on strong Liiga production as a young 17-year-old. Since then there have been several ups and downs, but Lambert seems to have landed on his feet and found success playing professional hockey in North America. Now the question is, how high is his NHL upside? Can he be a top-six forward? We’ll dig into those questions and more.

Lambert entered his draft season with a lot of hype. His uncle, Lane Lambert, was a long-time NHLer so he had the pedigree. Then, he played 46 Liiga games for JYP in the top Finnish division as a 17 and 18-year-old in his draft minus one season. He even put up 15 points in those 46 games, which was more than respectable.
