2024 U18 World Championship

Meet the Team: Switzerland's 2024 U18 World Hockey Championship roster

This Swiss team will an unpleasant one to face for opponents, as they almost always are, with as compelling a group as they've brought to this tournament in some time.

Most of their players come from the four best teams in the Swiss U20-Elit league, with representatives from the league-winner Zug, the runners-up in Biel-Bienne, and two semifinalists in Gottéron and Ambri-Piotta among them.

The biggest names on their roster will, of course, be defencemen Daniil Ustinkov and Leon Muggli, and they have some quality depth behind them on the blue line in Ludvig Johnson and Mischa Geisser. That's the strength of this team. The offence will be more of a by-committee approach, where they hope to extract more than the sum of their parts.
