"It’s ridiculous how good he is." Gavin McKenna is leaving the hockey world speechless at the 2024 U18 World Hockey Championships

ESPOO, Finland – Gavin McKenna entered the 2024 Under-18 World Hockey Championships as the youngest player on Team Canada and the fourth youngest player at the event.

And the projected top pick for the 2026 NHL draft was expected to be a top-line player for the Canadians in their quest for their first gold medal since 2021.

But what he has accomplished through three games has been nothing short of awe-inspiring.

The Canadians have traditionally struggled in this tournament, and didn't even participate in the first three editions of it.

With most top players still playing in the CHL playoffs, Canada has never put a priority on the showcase.

This year isn't any different. Macklin Celebrini is not attending after winning the Hobey Baker at Boston University. Projected top-10 picks Sam Dickinso
