What We Learned: Winnipeg Jets' goaltending issues are chicken-and-egg

You knew that if it ever got to the point where Connor Hellebuyck was sitting on the bench, the series was over.

And it looked for all the world like the Colorado Avalanche completely cracked him, demythologizing whatever made him the unquestioned best goaltender in the league this past season, and effectively ending the Winnipeg Jets' playoff hopes before they even really got off the ground.

Hellebuyck's work in Game 4 ended just 40 minutes into it, and over the course of 220 minutes of hockey, he'd conceded 19 goals on 146 shots (.870).
