Elite Prospects' post-lottery 2024 NHL Mock Draft

Well, that wasn't too exciting. For the first time since 2010, the NHL draft lottery had no real movement. All the teams in the bottom 16 will select in exactly the same spots they finished the regular season in. That means the San Jose Sharks have the luxury of selecting Macklin Celebrini with the first overall pick.

Despite the lack of intrigue at the lottery, the draft itself will bring it in spades. Because after that first pick, it's completely up in the air who’s going to come next. There are about seven players who could realistically be selected second overall this year. The blender will be on full tilt.
