Fantasy Hockey Rundown: The Swedes are coming!

We’re on to the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Over in Sweden, the playoffs are over. On April 29th, Skelleftea AIK defeated Rogle BK 2-0 to emerge as SHL champions. With the SHL season over, it’s worth looking at some of the best performances by prospects in the league and what their projection is looking like.

Why not start with the champions Skelleftea AIK? It was not Axel Sandin Pellikka who led the team in power play time on ice, that was 31-year-old Jonathan Pudas. He’s done well in that role for years, but Sandin Pellikka was second on the team in power play time on ice and third in points by a defender. He was second in points per game, Oskar Nilsson had two more points in 13 more games than Sandin Pellikka.
