For the first time in a long time, NHL free agency delivered. This year's talent pool was deep. Most teams had enough cap room to make a splash. Everything lined up perfectly.

After years of prudence and savvy manoeuvring, we finally got some moves fitting of the silly season moniker. At times, it felt like there were too many to even keep track of. Pour one out for our colleague Ryan Lambert, who tried anyway with his offseason transaction grades.
