Fantasy Hockey Feature: Is Martin Pospisil the next Tom Wilson?

Any fantasy manager participating in a multi-cat league already knows the name of Martin Pospisil very well. 

A rookie winger for the Calgary Flames in 2023-24, Pospisil had 24 points, 109 penalty minutes, and 238 hits in just 63 games. He did that skating under 13 minutes per contest, so his 60-minute rates were very good. In fact, Pospisil’s 60-minute rate of 5-on-5 points (1.82) exceeded teammates Yegor Sharangovich and Elias Lindholm while his all-strengths penalty minutes rate was second among all forwards in the league and his hit rate was fourth (minimum of 600 minutes). That is exceptional multi-cat production, so let’s review his rookie season and look ahead to his potential fantasy upside.
