Matvei Michkov will make his NHL debut with the Philadelphia Flyers in just about two months from now. 

This scenario seemed impossible when he signed his five-year contract in the KHL with SKA St. Petersburg, but it’s as real as it gets now. Michkov flew over early to train in the Flyers facility and put on the team’s colours upon touching down – he’s ready for NHL action. 

The best prospect the organization has had in a long time, Michkov has given Flyers fans every reason to believe in his potential. He continued to score at a high rate last season with HK Sochi, finishing with the top production pace on his team and for an under-20 player in the past five years.
