EP Rinkside 2024 NHL Prospect Pool Rankings: No. 28-ranked Pittsburgh Penguins

Somehow, the Pittsburgh Penguins must both improve their NHL roster and bolster their future. 

On the bolstering of the future side of the equation, the Penguins are doing a solid job with limited draft capital to work with. Their prospect pool has an intriguing mix of upside and role players. 

Though they moved down two spots from last summer's ranking, this is the best their pool has been in years. The movement is just the result of this season being the most competitive the prospect pool rankings have been since we started. 

The Penguins' ranking with a strong, interchangeable tier of four players at premium positions.
