Though the years of the Los Angeles Kings being ranked near the top of every prospect pool ranking are gone, their prospect pool has no shortage of intrigue. 

This is a hard-working prospect pool filled with players known for their motors, physical skills, and attention to detail. Goalies are also a strength, with three of them occupying spots inside the top six. 

Of course, their future is in much better shape than this ranking would suggest. Recent graduates by Calder eligibility include Brandt Clarke, Alex Laferriere, Samuel Fagemo, and Alex Turcotte, while 23-and-under players on the roster include Quinton Byfield and Jordan Spence. And there's a potential top-six forward topping the list.
