EP Rinkside 2024 NHL Prospect Pool Rankings: No. 23-ranked New Jersey Devils

For the first time ever, the New Jersey Devils are dropping outside of the top-15 in EP Rinkside's prospect pool rankings.

This kind of thing is bound to happen when four of your top five from the previous year end up not being eligible for this year's edition. Luke Hughes, Simon Nemec, and Nico Daws all graduated to the NHL, while Graeme Clarke was used as a trade chip to acquire Adam Beckman – who isn't Calder eligible anymore – from the Minnesota Wild.

While the Devils are now very much in their contending window, their lacklustre season was rewarded with yet another top-10 pick in Anton Silayev in this year's draft. There's a clear drop-off afterward, though, given that Silayev was the only Devils prospect who ended up making our top-100 NHL affiliated prospects list.

Let's take a further plunge into their current prospect pool.
