EP Rinkside 2024 NHL Prospect Pool Rankings: No. 6-ranked Philadelphia Flyers

The Philadelphia Flyers slot in at sixth in our prospect pool ranking in no small part due to the presence of Matvei Michkov, our second-ranked prospect in the NHLJett Luchanko and Oliver Bonk also gave the system a slight push.

This a top-heavy pool. There’s a significant drop in talent and NHL odds after the top three names. Carter SotheranAlex BumpEmil Andrae, and Denver Barkey could establish themselves in long-term roles in the Flyers lineup, but the rest of the players listed belong either in the long-shot or boom-or-bust category.

When Michkov graduates, the Flyers just might slide down this list, especially if they try to speed out of their rebuild and stop adding prospective talent through the draft and trades.
