Scout's Notebook: Lasse Boelius is still Finland's top 2025 Draft prospect
I've already mentioned this in plenty of articles, but it bears repeating: this is a very weak draft class as far as Finnish players are concerned.
It's very much in the cards that it’ll end up being the worst draft class for the country since 2007, when just four Finnish prospects heard their names called by NHL teams. At this moment, I’m only seeing a handful of players who could have a shot at making our draft board by the end of the season, and even that might be generous.
But even in the weakest of years, there are still at least a few names worthy of more extensive examination. So, in this article, I’ll be digging into a handful of the most prominent Finnish draft-eligibles and how they’ve started their seasons.
