Stepping into league play with ten points across eleven games, the former Detroit Red Wings first-round pick’s blazing hot start is really a continuation of an ultra-successful draft-plus-one campaign. The Swede landed third in defenceman goal scoring, finding the net ten times across 39 games for Skellefteå AIK.

An integral part of the subarctic hockey club, Sandin-Pellikka added seven more points across 14 playoff games en route to an SHL championship — all at just 19 years old.

Already a weapon off the blue line, the top-40 NHL prospect is seemingly just getting started.
