Inaugural CHL-USA Prospects Challenge will be unique reunion for 2022 OHL Cup champions
LONDON, Ontario – There will be some extra trash talk tonight when Team CHL meets the United States National Development Program Under-18 Team in Game 1 of the inaugural CHL-USA Prospect Challenge.
That's because for former Mississauga Senators teammates Michael Misa and Malcolm Spence it's their first chance to play against their old Senators teammate William Moore.
“With [Moore] on the other side, we’ve never played against the U.S. team like this,” Misa said. “So it’s gonna be fun, but [we’re] looking forward to hopefully winning both games.”
“There’ll be trash talk for sure,” Spence added with a smile.
“It’ll be really cool to kind of get a gauge of where they’re at and see how far they’ve come,” Moore said. “It’ll be tons of fun, super competitive like always. We’re still very close."
