In an NHL trade rumour hill churning names at nearly full capacity in a pandemic season, there are three names on the blue line that stand out for their tantalizing potential above the rest: Vince Dunn, Travis Dermott, and Victor Mete.
Each of these players has carved out a substantial NHL career in spite of their relative youth, brief stretches spent ably playing high-leverage minutes and producing sound underlying two-way results among them. In spite of this, each has fallen out of favour in their current station, suffering healthy scratches and diminishing minutes.
