We figured there would be no shortage of player movement and news over this week leading up to the expansion draft, as teams try to get their affairs in order in the hopes of limiting whatever damage the Kraken will inflict upon them. But even for those of us that had been emotionally preparing ourselves for complete chaos, these first couple of days have been something else. 

While the hockey world was still trying to fully digest Edmonton's decision to trade for Duncan Keith, the Minnesota Wild came in out of left field to announce that they're buying out the remainder of Ryan Suter's and Zach Parise's contracts.

Even though it can't be completely surprising given that it seemed like the writing was on the wall for Parise after the way this past season went for him, buying them both of the
