Our long national nightmare is finally over. After months and months of false alarms and parsing through tweets from insiders about what was really going on behind the scenes, we can now officially put a bow on the Jack Eichel era in Buffalo. 

We found out this morning that he's off to Vegas, after being traded for a grab bag of future assets that includes Peyton Krebs, Alex Tuch, and two conditional draft picks. There's a lot of moving parts involved, and lots for us to digest here.
