Troy Terry has quickly become a fixture on my short list of favourite players in the league to watch, turning into appointment viewing whenever he's on the ice.
Even when his team is deeply struggling to win the way it has for much of this season, the unique manner in which he attacks individually makes seeking Anaheim Ducks games out worthwhile anyway.
Part of what I appreciate about his story is that much like Tage Thompson, Terry serves as a valuable reminder to us that young players don't always develop in a linear upward fashion. Sometimes it takes them a while to figure things out at this level, because the stuff they used to be able to do easily previously is suddenly a lot more difficult to pull off against this type of competition.
