Time and patience at Northeastern helped Buffalo Sabres goalie Devon Levi prep for NHL test

DETROIT, Michigan – Devon Levi didn't have to share the crease at Northeastern University. 

Over the past two seasons, he was the finest goalie in college hockey, probably should have won the Hobey Baker Award in 2022, and could win back-to-back Mike Richter Awards if votes went his way when the prize for NCAA's best goalie is awarded tonight in Tampa. 

It's fair to say things have a little bit of an adjustment at practice since Levi joined the Buffalo Sabres this spring, bringing the number of active goalies on the NHL roster up to four with Craig Anderson, Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, and Eric Comrie
