Tuesday’s article covered which top forwards to target, and the order to target them, for fantasy hockey playoff drafts. Today, we’ll take the same approach but for defensemen. 

Adam Fox - New York Rangers

At time of writing both Sports Interaction and DraftKings have the New York Rangers with the best odds to advance past the first round. The NHL postseason is built for upsets, but the Rangers should get at least two rounds. That cannot be said of Cale MakarQuinn HughesRoman Josi, or Evan Bouchard. In that sense, there is an argument to have Rangers defenceman Adam Fox as the first blue liner off the draft board.
