LAS VEGAS, Nevada - With the 2024 NHL Entry Draft just hours away, it’s time to take one final stab at predicting how the chips will fall on the table.
Last year, our final mock draft predicted 28 of the first 32 picks, with five of my picks accurately matching the player to their specific team. That was good for one of the best marks among the mock drafts published ahead of that draft.
This all goes to illustrate how difficult it is to predict accurately who a team will select. For every team that goes off the board – even just a little bit – it sends shockwaves that affect almost all of the picks that follow.
But we push on regardless because it’s a fun exercise.
